DAY 01 : ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival at International Airport, you are met and transferred to your pre-booked Hotel. Upon arrival at the Hotel, check in at your hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02 : DELHI
This morning, visit Old Delhi, built in 17th Century by Shah Jehan. The magnificent (Who also built The Taj Mahal). First visit the famous Jama Masjid Mosque with Its 9,000 Sq. Ft. Courtyard, three Domes and two Minarets, and then proceed to the massive complex known as The Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.
Afternoon visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple, A spectacular structure that's just 60 years old , and then proceed via India Gate and the Governmental Building to Qutab Minar, The 240 foot Tower built in 1190 to commemorate the arrival of Islam in India. The Bahai temple with its nine pools on an elevated platform and the crafts Museum, which replicates and Indian street with over 50 artists and craftspeople at work. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 : DELHI - AMRITSAR( BY SHATABDI EXPRESS TRAIN DEP 0720 HRS ARR 1310 HRS)
Morning transfer to railway station to board Shatabdi Express for Amritsar. Upon arrival, transfer to your pre-booked Hotel. Afternoon visit the famous Golden Temple which is Sacred to the Sikhs. Here find time to tune into the amazing spiritual centre and feel the Power that inspires the Sikh people worldwide. Continue city tour and visit the Jallian Walla Bagh - Martyrs' memorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 person who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city Of Amritsar. DAY 04 : AMRITSAR - DHARAMSALA( BY ROAD 210 KMS 6 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast, continue drive towards Dharamshala. A hill station full of natural charm and beauty. Situated in the Kangra Valley and spread over a height of 450 meters. It is surrounded by the majestic Dhauladhar ranges on three sides. Tibetan settlements at Mecleodganj and Tibetan library are the treasure hunts of Manuscripts and text and its ancient culture. The Dalai Lama's palace is next to his monastery at Dharamshala. Upon arrival, check- in at your pre-booked Hotel.
The day is spent walking around the Kangra valley and mixing and talking with the Tibetan community. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05 : DHARAMSALA
Morning Start City Tour Of Dharmsala And Visit The Dalai Lama'S monastery, Tibetian children village and handicraft centre, Bhagsunag and water fall and the war memorial. Evening is spent relaxing. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 : DHARAMSALA - MANALI( BY ROAD 250 KMS 6 HRS DRIVE)
Today morning leave for Manali. Upon arrival in Manali, check in at Hotel. Manali is a major resort in the Kullu valley. According to the legend its name is derived from Manu and Alaya - The Abode of Manu. Manali is synonymous with streams and birdsongs, forest and orchards and the grandeur of the snowcapped Himalaya.
Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 07 : MANALI
Today leave for city tour of Manali. Visiting the Hadimba Devi Temple set within dense pine forest and to the Naggar Castle to have the stunning view of the valley.
Afternoon excursion to Rothang Pass. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 08 : MANALI - KEYLONG ( BY ROAD 115 KMS 4 HRS DRIVE)
We continue drive towards Keylong situated at an altitude of 3350 Meters. Keylong is the head quarters of Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh lying on Indo-tibetan border. The region is strange, exciting, primitive mountainous and delightful. "Rudyard Kipling" said of therein "Surely the God live here this no place for men." The route of Lahaul takes a traveler over Rohtang Pass (3980m above sea level), Koksar (1sr Village of Lahaul) Sissu, Gindla And Tandi crossing the river Chanderbagha. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Keylong. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 09 : KEYLONG - SARCHU( BY ROAD 120 KM 5 HRS DRIVE )
Morning after breakfast, drive to Sarchu (4253 M) via Baralachala (4892 M). Sarchu is inhabited by Himalayan Clan Gaddi and few lonely soldiers at an Army outpost. It is also the actual border between Lahaul and Zanskar. Upon arrival check in at tents. Overnight at tents .
DAY 10 : SARCHU - LEH( BY ROAD 235 KM 8 HRS DRIVE )
Morning after breakfast, drive to Leh (3500 M) via Lachulangla (5065 M) and Tanglangla (5360 M). The second highest pass in the world with metalled road. Leh is the capital of Ladakh and is situated on the bank of the river Indus. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 11 : LEH
Morning proceed to the sightseeing of Phyang, Spituk and Sankar. Overnight at hotel
DAY 12 : LEH - LIKIR( TREK STARTING )
Morning after breakfast start your first say's trek to Yangthanga ( 04-05 Hrs ). Overnight at tents.
DAY 13 : YANGTHANGA- ANG VIA HEMIS SHUKPACHAN( 04-05 HRS TREK ).
Overnight at tents.
DAY 14 : ANG - SIKINDIYANG 06- 07 HRS TREK )
DAY 15 : SIKINDIYANG - KHALTSI (04 -05 HRS TREK )
Today we will finish the trek. Overnight at tent .
DAY 16 : KHALTSI - ALCHI ( BY ROAD 3 HRS DRIVE )
Morning after breakfast proceed to Alchi's large temple complex founded in the 11th century is regarded as one of the most important Buddhist centres in Ladakh and a Jewel of Monastic skill. You will also have an opportunity to witness villagers using primitive methods to grind the wheat along the road side. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 17 : ALCHI - LEH( BY SURFACE 75 KM 3 HRS DRIVE )
Morning after breakfast proceed to Leh. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day, free for personal activities.
DAY 18 : LEH
After breakfast, visit the Hemis monastry. The biggest and the wealthiest in Ladakh. Visit the Museum in which the family's heirlooms and relics are displayed, a poignant evocation of Ladakh's vanished past as an independent Kingdom. Ladakh is well known as sos village. Visit the Tibetan handicraft centre / Tibetan school you walk past the Chortens and the main walls to enter the complex through the east gate. From Hemis, you are driven westwards to Thiksey monastry, located on a hilltop with formidable views of the Indus valley. After visiting the interiors of the monestry the tour continues to the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. Finally drive back to Leh Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 19 : LEH - DELHI ( BY FLIGHT)
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Airport to board flight for Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Evening go to a typical Indian restaurant for a farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 20 : LEAVE DELHI
Transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey.
